General Information

General Policies

  • All users must have a valid PennKey to log onto UL Tech Services lab machines.
  • The hardware in these labs includes: Dell computers, flat panel monitors, scanners, and printers.
  • The software in these labs includes: Windows XP, MS Office 2007, and Firefox 3.x.
    • Note: E-mail workstations only have IE7 and Firefox 3.

Labs

  • Graduate Student Center, Lobby (map):
    • Six (6) Dell desktop computers; UniPrint station.
  • Houston Hall, Second Floor (map):
    • Four (4) Dell desktop computers; UniPrint station.
  • Weingarten Learning Resources Center, Stouffer College House, Suite 300 (map):
    • 14 Dell desktop computers; UniPrint station; scanner.
  • LGBT Center (Carriage House), Second Floor (map):
    • Four (4) Dell desktop computers; six (6) IBM InfoCenters; printer; scanner.

Email Workstations

  • Career Services (McNeil Building), Library (map):
    • Four (4) Dell desktop computers.
  • Houston Hall, Lobby (map):
    • Four (4) Dell desktop computers.
  • Williams Hall, Lobby (map):
    • Two (2) Dell desktop computers.

Printing

UniPrint is now in use in all UL Tech Services labs. In order to print, you must have money (PennCash) on your PennCard. You cannot pay for printing with cash; you must use your PennCard.
